i saw this on the newspaper: it is about an issue "Advanced Medical Directive", and i will be signing this directive when i reach 21.
i really doubt the life of a man in 'vegetable' state is able to live meaningfully. although he may have conscious mind to be able to think, he can no longer move and do whatever he wants to do. so what is the point of living in this world when all you can do is to lie on the bed and you have to depend on a machine to substain your life. you are not living as your ownself but as a robot where your survival is relied only on a MACHINE.
some ppl argue that euthansia is against moral values. we should not play god and take away other ppl life as we like. but actually how valuable can a life be when it is deemed useless. we are born into this world to become human, where we can think, make decision, and finally+most importantly, perform the action intended. if one is unable to do want he wants and instead has to lie on the bed, making use of a machine to keep himself ALIVE, what is the point of living in this world when he is unable to stay alive on his own?

i would definitely feel that it is torturing to stay alive in such a way that many tubes are being inserted to your body to substain your life. IT IS NOT THE WAY THAT HUMAN SHOULD BE BEHAVING LIKE. ppl who are against euthansia protest that we should not assume that those ppl are suffering just because they are suffering from critical illness or are born with defective organs. but think again, they are also making assumptions. they raise real-life examples to support their stand that they have the right to continue living. but PLS WAKE UP, these are just exceptional miracles and it wouldnt happen to all ppl. we have to face the harsh reality in this world, firstly, they are indeed being forsaken by the other who are healthier, and secondly, why should we let their loved ones suffered when they see these ppl trying very very hard to get by everyday life?
what is the use of grabbing on fake hopes that a miracle will happen? shouldnt we just move on with our life instead of holding on to lives that are supposed to leave causing even more misery to other ppl?

weileng says if we want to make our money worthwhile, we have to eat at least 8 plates of sushi, plus our odon noodles and the mochi ice-cream and the green tea. the mochi ice-cream and the green tea are nice
i really wanna eat sashimi, the premium (red) plate. but it will cause additional $5.90 for each plate. sign. have to wait till i have the money to buy them. the whole evening was very fun and enjoyable
but my opportunity cost will be to forgone my study time, especially for phy quiz tml. i have not revise any qns for this topic superposition
